In Starbuntu the panel bar contains:

• the Starbuntu app menu, a search tool for it (Starbuntu program search-list-item) and, moreover, a tool for the restructuring of the app menus (Starbuntu program create-rm-category)

• the quick app launcher Apwal and an app search (Starbuntu program search-app)

• a desktop display as well as the Starbuntu program for the wallpaper selection

• the trash bin

• a list with the recently used documents which can optionally be called up with a filter as well as a respective GTK list

• the folder bookmarks and the marked folders

• the short notes, a search tool for them (see above) and the memos in evolution

• the exposed files, a search tool for them (see above) and the help texts

• the links to important web sites, a search tool for them (see above) and other external sources

• a text input box for the search engines Google, DuckDuckGo and Startpage

• the windows bar with the open windows sorted according to the respective work spaces

• a tool to configure the tint2 buttons, to edit the hotkey list or to embed any command in the system tray

• the system tray containing bluetooth, clipboard, gesture recognition, help browser, network connections, onboard screen keyboard, printer management, task manager and volume control

• a calendar with arbitrary date addressing

• two graphical interfaces for the session control

which can respectively be opened with a left, middle or right click.

The windows displayed in the windows bar can be focussed or minimized by leftclicking, maximized by middleclicking and closed by rightclicking on their respective icons.
